We source the most effective ingredients from all over the world and make sure that they are harvested in a sustainable way, both environmentally and socially.
All of our ingredients are either natural or naturally derived. Some of our ingredients are organic, but not all the producers that we work with have gained organic certification (it’s a long process and can be extremely expensive).
We like to know that our suppliers are treating their environment with respect and helping to support their local community. This is one of the reasons we love working with our Cacay supplier. They are actively replanting areas of the Amazon with Cacay trees that were historically logged. Plus, they are providing a long-term income to over 500 families in the region in which they work.

Our Founder
Hi! My name is Alexandra and I am the founder of Oilixia. After working for 12 years in the beauty industry, from big brands like Lancome to smaller niche brands like Tweezerman, I was inspired to start my own beauty brand.
I grew up in Australia and spent a lot of time in the great outdoors, so creating a brand that made the best use of nature’s wonder ingredients was really important to me. As I started to explore the world, I kept on discovering different natural ingredients that were often well known in their native landscape, but not well known across the rest of the world. These ingredients were often used for millennia within the region and for good reason – they were usually pretty potent. Each of our products make use of these little-known natural powerhouses to give you the best possible beauty results.
Despite living and breathing beauty products for many years, I like it best when things are kept simple, which is why I wanted to develop clever multi-tasking products that are easy to use and give you visible results from the get go. That’s also why our Gummy Cleanser is able to rinse clean without you needing to use a cloth; two of my pet peeves are travelling with a wet face cloth and extra washing!
