A gentle exfoliator is one of the most effective ways to cleanse skin of impurities and scrub away the winter dullness. We generally prefer enzyme exfoliators to scrubs, as these give a more even exfoliation, and won’t drag or micro-scratch the skin that may result in surface and deeper damage. The Kakadu Plum has great levels of Phenolic Acid, which acts just like an AHA and exfoliates the top layer of the skin’s surface for a smoother, more toned look and softer feel. Oily fish such as salmon or mackerel is a great source of EFA. You should also include eggs, dark green leafy veg, almonds, walnuts and wholegrain foodstuffs in your diet. The vegetables, especially, contain high water levels to aid a balanced diet. Complement the EFAs by reducing your sugar, wheat and dairy intake as far as possible.
