This facial oil is nourishing, yet quickly absorbed into the skin. It’s ideal for skin that need a little extra TLC, normal-dry skin or to combat dry patches. The ingredients work together to help renew skin, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, nourish and protect. It’s great to use at night time or during winter.
Cacay trees grow natively in the Amazon rainforest. The entire nut can be used in some way. The peel can used for cattle feed or compost, the shell has high heating power that makes it a great as a bio-fuel, the nut is pressed for its oil and the leftover meal is rich in protein (over 40%!), minerals, omegas and fibre, making it great as a food source or to make nut milk. Our supplier is actively replanting Cacay trees in the Amazon, from which they hand harvest the Cacay nuts to make our Cacay oil. Since starting their business a few years ago, they have already re-planted 120,000 trees and they are planning to plant a further 100,000 trees this year.
Acai oil is rich omega-6, omega-9, vitamin C, polyphenols and phytosterols. It has powerful antioxidant properties. The oil is cold pressed from the seed of the Acai berry.
